Exambasics

Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

By accessing or using Exambasics ("we", "us", the "service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Unofficial practice only

Exambasics provides unofficial practice material for learning. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by AWS, Microsoft, Google, Transport for London (TfL), DVSA, or any certification or licensing body. Completing practice on Exambasics does not guarantee passing any official exam or assessment.

Exambasics.com is an independent educational platform. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, Google Cloud, Transport for London (TfL), the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), or any other certification or licensing body. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

2. London Topographical Practice module

The module at /tfl-topographical is an independent study tool for candidates preparing for the London private hire topographical assessment. In particular:

3. Content and intellectual property

All question text, explanations, route data, software, and branding on Exambasics are owned by Exambasics or used under licence (e.g. OpenStreetMap contributors). You may not:

Personal practice use through the website is permitted according to your access plan.

4. Accounts and access

You are responsible for your account credentials and activity. Subscription plans may limit concurrent sessions. Do not share accounts in ways that violate your plan or circumvent access controls.

5. Purchases and payment processors

Exambasics uses separate payment providers depending on the product:

Prices, features, and access periods are shown at the point of purchase. We may update pricing for future purchases without affecting access already paid for.

6. Refunds

Refund eligibility depends on the product purchased. See our Refund Policy for full details, including the unused-access refund window for the TfL module and Gumroad token rules.

7. Digital content and UK consumer rights

Where UK consumer law applies, you may have statutory rights including remedies for digital content that is not as described or not of satisfactory quality. For the London Topographical Practice module, you must tick an explicit waiver before payment confirming that you request immediate digital access and that your statutory 14-day cancellation right is lost once you access paid content, to the extent permitted by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. We store acceptance records (timestamp, policy version, and IP address) as evidence. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, probe admin areas without authorisation, or misuse automation against our APIs. Report security issues responsibly to support.exambasics@gmail.com.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Exambasics is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for failure to pass any official exam or assessment. Our total liability for any claim relating to a paid product is limited to the amount you paid us for that product in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
