Refund Policy

We want you to be confident before you pay. This policy explains how refunds work for each Exambasics product. If anything is unclear, contact us before purchasing.

London Topographical Practice (£59.99 — Stripe)

This module provides 12 months of digital access to MCQ practice, route scenarios, and mock exams. Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not sell or book official TfL assessments.

7-day refund window (unused access)

You may request a refund within 7 calendar days of purchase if all of the following apply:

Digital content and statutory cancellation

Before checkout you must confirm that you request immediate access to digital content and acknowledge that your statutory 14-day right to cancel is lost once you access paid content, to the extent permitted by UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This waiver is recorded with a timestamp and IP address for evidence purposes.

Stripe processing fees

Approved refunds for eligible unused purchases are issued net of non-refundable Stripe payment processing fees (typically approximately 2.9% + 30p per transaction) where permitted by law. This protects against fee loss on transactions that were legitimately delivered.

We may issue a partial or full refund outside the standard window at our discretion for duplicate charges, proven billing errors, or extended service outages. This does not affect your statutory rights as a UK consumer.

Certification practice tokens & subscriptions (Gumroad)

Token packs and subscription plans for cloud certification practice are sold through Gumroad. Gumroad processes payment and sends purchase notifications to Exambasics.

How to request a refund

  1. Email support.exambasics@gmail.comwith the subject line "Refund request".
  2. Include the email address on your Exambasics account, the product purchased (TfL module, token pack, or subscription), and the approximate purchase date.
  3. For Stripe (TfL) purchases, include the last four digits of the card or the Stripe receipt reference if you have it.
  4. We aim to respond within two business days and to process approved refunds within 5–10 business days.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before opening a payment dispute. Chargebacks for legitimately delivered digital access may result in account suspension while the case is reviewed.
